While many PressurePro dealers are reporting they have no PressurePro sensors, Vulcan Tire Sales (vulcantire.com/tpms) has hundreds of PressurePro sensors in stock and ready to ship. The manufacturer of PressurePro TPMS sensors recently explained that the sensor shortage is related to the lack of availability of a key integrated circuit (computer chip) used in the production of the sensors. Projections indicate that it may be mid March before most PressurePro dealers see their stock of sensors replenished.
I have a Hopkins TPMS model 38100VA that I purchased in 2009. I need replacement sensors, and Hopkins Manufacturing is telling me that the above model was discontinued and that the sensors are now being marketed as Pressure Pro. Can you confirm that the sensors will function properly with my system?
Hello! As long as your existing sensors have the “PressurePro” logo embossed on the top of the sensors you can use the following part numbers: 11240 11242 11244 and 11246. They can be found here:
